Here's a taster of my work

Whatever your business's tone of voice is, I can do it. Sweet? Silly? Soothing?
I'm a chameleon of tone. A chameleotone, if you will.

This community is all about supporting and helping you grow as a textile artist at your own pace. It's a place to unwind – you'll really feel the wellbeing benefits from regularly being creative.

Possible worry number 2: COMMITMENT 💍

Signing up for the membership can feel like a big commitment, especially because there's a new project each month. But, you don't need to rush or worry because the projects won't disappear.

And, if you commit to a year, you'll get to keep the projects for an extra 2 months (that's 14 months in total – plenty of time for you to enjoy working through them).

Subject line: Banana bread bonkers
Preview text: Get 50% off Terry's miracle treat TODAY

Why are we doing 50% off? Because Terry got too excited about a new secret ingredient in his miracle banana bread recipe… and baked way too much. Every surface is now covered in banana bread. Even our pockets are full of it.

But seeing it go to waste would be a tragedy.

We should actually be charging twice the price for this banana bread, not half.

When we say 'miracle' banana bread we mean it. Terry's banana bread once saved an entire village. And an office who'd forgotten to pick up some treats for their most important meeting of the year. And a mum who had a friend coming over for tea at the last minute. In fact, our banana bread saved over a million lives* last year.

*Obviously it wasn't a million. Maybe a thousand. Okay, it was just Terry's mum.

How do I get my hands on the miracle bread?

All you need to do is go to Terry's Bakery today (this is a one-day only event. Terry has definitely learnt his lesson. And we need it out of our way).

Sprinkle of Joy Guarantee

We know you'll love this banana bread as much as we do. In fact, if for any reason you don't feel miraculous joy in that first bite, bring that loaf back within 3 days and we'll give you a stress-free refund.

Run (don't walk) to Terry's Bakery today, before the miracle banana bread sells out… like hot cakes!

T&Cs:

- Available while miracle banana bread stocks last (which won't be very long).

- Subject to availability.

- Cannot be used in conjunction with any other banana-based offer.

Your home, but better!

Selling your home can be a stressful process. There's so much paperwork, sorting, and organising - not to mention getting your house ready for potential buyers…

But don't worry, we'll take care of that.

[Brand name] is a staging company that helps potential buyers see your old house as their new home. The best way for a buyer to imagine themselves living there is to make them feel an emotional connection.

After all, this could be the place where they celebrate birthdays, dance in the kitchen, and fall asleep in front of the TV.

How do we do that?

We've got £15 million worth of high-end furnishings on hand. Our job is to choose and arrange the furnishings, décor and accessories to make potential buyers think, 'I want to put in an offer right now!'.

And we'll sort any minor repairs, because they make all the difference. Your property will be transformed from 'well-used' to 'ready for a new adventure'.

Sell your home faster and for a higher price – we've got the track record to prove it.

What's the process?

It's really straightforward. Once you've chosen the subscription package, it's time for the fun bit. Producing the stories! They could be the result of a homework task, a whole school competition or an after-school creative writing club. There's no limit to how many pupils can take part, or a limit on the number of pages. You have absolute creative freedom, but if you'd like a hand, feel free to look at the free resources on our website.

- When you've got the stories together (don't worry, they don't need to be perfect yet!) send them over to us, and we'll provide expert feedback and mentoring* via email to help improve their writing skills.

The pupils then have the opportunity to implement the feedback. Once they're happy with their stories, send us the final versions (along with any high-quality scans of illustrations you'd like to include), with a name and address for postage. You can include a cover, or we'll provide one for you.

- After we've professionally proofread and polished them, your 100 copies will soon arrive. You'll also receive a print-ready pdf version, so you can print as many copies as you like.

Beauty Kubes Conditioner

Let's get clean - physically and morally. We all want to do our bit to help the environment, so let's start with stripping back the plastic in our bathrooms and not the healthy oils in our hair. Beauty Kubes leave your hair feeling soft, shiny and hydrated. They're made of fragrance-free natural ingredients which condition your hair while being gentle on your scalp.

How do I condition my hair with a Kube?

The conditioner cubes couldn't be easier to be use, or better for the environment. Simply crumble 1-2 cubes into your hand, add a little water to make a paste and voilà - you're helping the planet.

Are they actually good for the environment?

The cubes are wrapped in 100% plastic-free, plant-based film that can be composted at home, so there's zero waste. They're also vegan and cruelty-free so you can condition away knowing that no animals were harmed to make your locks silky. Free from palm oil, there's no contributing to deforestation either. On top of all of that goodness, the Beauty Kubes don't contain any harmful sulphates (which strip the hair of its natural oils causing breakages) or silicones (which attract dirt and cause product build-up - gross!).

Ditch your plastic bottles for Kubes, and make David Attenborough proud.

Things to consider before getting a dog (bet you didn't think about feathers...)

'If dogs love anything, it's a treat. The fact that Scooby Doo is willing to do anything for a Scooby Snack is no exaggeration. Ruby loves chicken more than anything, so I'm hoping to use it to train her to unload the dishwasher and make tea, so we'll see how that goes.'

Man Torso Concrete Body Vase

How do I style the vase?

This artisanal vase deserves its own plinth, but a coffee table or sideboard will do nicely. Quietly understated, this piece is the perfect finishing touch for any room, and there are so many ways to style it. Add freshly cut flowers or vibrant houseplants to pop against the age-old grey hue of the concrete, or let the vase take centre stage amongst your favourite dishes at your next dinner party. Your vase could even display your kitchen utensils on a sun-drenched windowsill, creating a sense of being truly immersed in the rich heritage of Italy.

YOKO ONO: MEND PIECE for London Whitechapel Gallery [until January 2022]

Mend carefully.

Think of mending the world
at the same time.

y.o.

First on the agenda is MEND PIECE for London by one of the OGs, Yoko Ono. We don't know about you, but we don't think there could possibly be a better time to see a piece about 'mending' than in the aftermath of a global pandemic. Less is more as they say, so if you don't have time to visit a whole exhibition, this is the piece to see. It consists of a table of broken fragments of ceramics - and the tools you can use to fix them.

Similar to her interactive Cut Piece in 1964 (but this time with fixing, instead of cutting) you can have a go at 'mending' the fragments with Sellotape and glue, before displaying your work on the shelves (imagine going into an art gallery as a viewer, and coming out as an exhibiting artist). This process links to the Japanese tradition of 'kintsugi', where pottery is mended in a way that highlights the breakages (not disguises them) to show the beauty in the history of an object.

This piece was first conceptualised in 1966, yet is still relevant today: 'Mend carefully. Think of mending the world at the same time.'

Picture the scene.

The Footloose rules of 2020 (no singing, no dancing, no fun) have been abolished. We're allowed to party again.

And what does every great party need?

A board game, obviously

But when you crack out the board games and play a few rounds, you can see your audience is getting bored. They want something new.

Something fresh.

What kind of host are you if all your games are bland, overplayed and look like they've been passed through your family for generations?

You'll be the laughing stock of the town.

Maybe you could bring out that board game idea you had...?

But your board looks like a five-year-old drew it, and your game pieces look a bit unfortunate...

What if your board game could be brought to life before your very eyes (in true Jumanji style)?

Then you're in luck.

The first-ever [brand name] Inventor Championships will be held in 2021, with a fight to the death.

Okay, maybe not to the death, but there *will* be a glorious champion.

No longer will you be known as the host with the embarrassingly dull games selection.

People will flock to your house for you to sign their copy of your board game, while the paparazzi try to snap a pic of the Famous Party-Board-Game-Inventor Extraordinaire.

If you don't fancy that, then fair enough.

Who wants to go into a shop and see their board game on the shelves anyway?

Oh, you do?

Preview text: Discover belts worn by leather experts

You're dressed for work. You look good. You feel good. You open the drawer to grab a belt to complete the outfit... But you're met with a tattered piece of leather that's flaking away, along with your self-confidence. You thought it would have lasted longer, but that's what you get with a low-quality belt.

So, what are the options?

1. You go to work wearing the belt that looks like you found it on the street.

2. You go without, and spend the day worrying about your trousers falling down.

Or, option 3. A brand-new belt from [brand name].

Handmade by Italian artisans, with a lifetime guarantee, you know they're made to last.
